Privacy Policy
Stride Warehouse is warehouse, delivery and installation management software. Operators (warehousing and logistics companies) use it to receive goods for their clients, store and inspect them, schedule and complete deliveries, and bill for the work. It is operated by Express Installation Services Inc, dba Stride (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the platform holds, why, who else touches it, and the choices you have.
In short: the information in the platform is the operator’s business record of its clients, their goods and the people those goods are delivered to. We hold it to run the service for the operator. We do not sell it, and we do not use anyone’s phone number for marketing.
1. Who this covers
- Operators and their staff — the companies that run their business on the platform, and the people they give logins to.
- Clients — businesses (designers, retailers, manufacturers) that store and ship goods through an operator. A client signs an agreement online and may be given a login to see its own orders and invoices.
- Delivery recipients — the people an order is delivered to or installed for. They have no login; they may open a private link to schedule a delivery, sign a checklist, or see photos of their delivery.
- Insurance agents, vendors and other contacts — people who open a one-time link to return a document.
2. What we collect
Entered by the operator, a client, or you
- Business and contact details: company name, contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal and billing addresses, website, tax-exemption and resale-certificate details.
- Orders and shipments: what was received, its condition, where it is stored, what is to be delivered where, and to whom — including the recipient’s name, address, phone number and any delivery instructions.
- Agreements you sign online, including your typed or drawn signature, section initials, the date and time you signed, and the wording you agreed to.
- Notes, messages, support tickets and service requests you send through the platform.
- Insurance certificates, resale certificates and other documents you upload.
Created by the platform
- Photos taken by staff of goods at receiving, inspection, repair and delivery, and any photos a recipient attaches to a checklist or survey.
- Delivery records: scheduled windows, arrival and completion times, the recipient’s signature and checklist answers, and survey responses.
- Invoices, charges, payments and their status.
- Emails and text messages sent to you and whether they were delivered; any text you send back to the platform’s number, including STOP or HELP.
- When you sign a document or submit a form: the browser you used, kept with the record as evidence of the submission.
- Sign-in records for people with a login, for security.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the service to the operator: track goods, schedule and complete deliveries and installations, keep inspection and damage records, and bill for the work.
- To send the notifications the operator has configured and the messages its staff send — order updates, scheduling invitations, delivery confirmations, invoices. See the Text Messages page for exactly which texts are sent and how to stop them.
- To let a client see its own orders, photos and invoices, and to let a recipient schedule and confirm a delivery.
- To keep the platform secure and working, and to answer support requests.
- To bill the operator for the service.
We do not use personal information for advertising, and we do not send marketing text messages.
4. Who else touches it
We use these providers to run the platform. Each receives only what it needs for its job, under its own contract with us:
- Supabase — the database, file storage (photos, documents) and sign-in that host the platform’s data.
- Twilio — delivers text messages and receives replies.
- Resend — delivers email.
- Stax — processes card and bank payments for an operator’s invoices. Card numbers go to Stax directly and are held by Stax; the platform stores only a token and the last four digits.
- Stripe — bills the operator for its subscription to the platform. It holds the operator’s payment details, not a client’s or a recipient’s.
- QuickBooks Online — where an operator connects it, invoices and customer names are sent to the operator’s own QuickBooks account.
- DispatchTrack — where an operator connects it, delivery stops (recipient name, address, phone, window) are sent to the operator’s routing account so drivers can be routed.
- GitHub — hosts the website itself.
- Stride Schedules — our staff-scheduling app. An operator that uses both sees its staff’s clock status here, and a text an employee sends to the shared number is passed to it so the right app answers.
Beyond those providers, your information is shared with the operator(it is their business record) and, for a delivery, with the client whose goods are being delivered, and where the law requires, with government agencies. We do not sell personal information.
5. Text messages
The platform can text an operator’s staff about events in the warehouse, and can text a delivery recipient or a client contact about their own order. Which messages, how often and how to opt out are on the Text Messages page. Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts from the platform’s number; reply START to resume. Your reply and the time of it are recorded so the opt-out is honoured. Message and data rates may apply.
6. How long we keep it
The operator controls the records in its account. Information stays in the platform for as long as the operator’s account is active. When an operator cancels, we keep its information for 90 days after its access ends, so the account can be reopened or its data exported; after that we may delete it. The operator keeps its own copies of business records for as long as the law requires. A suspension (for example, for an unpaid bill) does not start those 90 days. Text-message logs and the record of consent and opt-outs are kept for four years, which is how long a complaint about a text can be brought, so a STOP is not forgotten.
7. Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to any message. A client contact can also ask the operator to withdraw the consent given on the intake form; an operator’s staff numbers are managed by the operator under Settings → Notifications.
- Email: every automated email says who sent it and why; ask the operator to change a contact address, or a client can change its own under its account.
- Your details: ask the operator to correct anything about you; a login lets a client update its own contact details.
- Access or deletion: requests go to the operator, who controls the account, or to us at email@stridenw.com and we will work with them.
8. Security
Data is stored with access controls that limit each operator to its own records, each client to its own orders, and each person to what their role allows. Photos and signed documents are stored privately and served through short-lived links. Connections to the platform are encrypted. Card details never touch the platform.
9. Children
The platform is for businesses and the adults they deliver to. It is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
